Dharavi, which is the largest slum of Asia featured on the top of the Top 10 Experiences list and also grabbed the tenth position on top 10 Travellers’ Choice Experiences 2019 in Asia.

Dharavi slums in Mumbai just became the favorite tourist experience of 2019 in India by beating Taj Mahal. According to a travel site TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards, a small group tour of the Dharavi slums in Mumbai is the topmost preference of tourists who visit the country. Travel site TripAdvisor has announced the winners. The awards recognize the world, Asia and India’s top bookable experiences - tours and activities - as decided by travelers, the company said.

Mumbai’s Dharavi, which is also the world’s largest slum that houses close to one million people, is giving Taj Mahal, a world marvel, run for its money. Travelers say that experiencing the local culture of a destination is one of the most exciting parts of a trip to Dharavi.
